About Matthew Cox & Inside True Crime
My name is Matthew B. Cox and I’m a con man. I recently completed a lengthy prison sentence for a variety of bank fraud related charges, and I’m 100 percent guilty of them all. While in prison, I spent my time in the institution’s library, writing my fellow inmates’ true crime stories--many of them can be found on my website: insidetruecrime.com, in addition, narrated versions can be found on this channel.
The experience of writing dozens of true crime stories led me to start this Youtube channel. Specifically, the bulk of the content on the channel will revolve around me interviewing various criminals about their crimes. I hope to focus on the more unique, clever, and bizarre true crime tales. As opposed to the more murderous stories that dominate the genre.
With the exception of running scams, interviewing other criminals is the one thing I truly love doing. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
