About Taming The Orchid
Hi, I'm Rafael. I am a dedicated orchid hobbyist with 25 years, hands-on experience. I have grown every type of orchid and currently maintain a collection of 100 plants in my small NYC apartment. I grow my plants under high output LED lighting. I successfully grow and bloom mostly species, primary hybrids, and a few choice complex hybrids. I hope to share my extensive experience with you, provide some moments of enjoyment, and inspire you to go down the orchid path.
