I came from a family of foodies, chefs, butchers, and even hunters (yep it's true), so I never thought I would go vegan. But when I made the switch overnight, a new plan of attack formed: become the best damn vegan I could be! So I jumped into my kitchen and began veganizing all of my classic comfort food favourites, and before I knew it, I absolutely LOVED being vegan. Now I'm a strong believer that any recipe can be veganized and taste just as good, if not better than the original recipe.
