RDI is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering the public to uphold constitutional principles in their civic behavior. Founded by a diverse group of leaders ranging from former world chess champion, Garry Kasparov, to Senator Heidi Heitkamp, to Pulitzer Prize-winner, Anne Applebaum, we believe in the potential of our constitutional democracy to protect the individual while promoting the community.

At RDI, we create content that empowers people to prioritize democratic principles while also feeling like they have an ideological home—a community of people who share the same core values. Through our content, we hope to do more than simply convey the virtues of our Constitution. Using powerful and creatively communicated stories, we seek to engage people in a conversation about the importance of constitutional principles, civic duty, and why these values are critical not just for the community at large but also for individuals and their families.
