About Call Me Mabie
This is a channel specifically aimed at creating an honest look at the life of a maker, from within the shop to out, profiling their real lives with authenticity. I’ll be covering the fine woodworkers, the hobbyists, those with a vast following, and those just beginning their journey.
I fell into the maker community solely by chance. I was hired as a videographer by a tool company at a time when I couldn’t tell you the difference between a bandsaw and a tablesaw. The more people I met, the more I learned. From there, I worked with more makers, woodworkers, and influencers creating all sorts of content on their behalf, one project being an entire YouTube channel. Now, I’ve made a YouTube channel of my own.
So many of you are incredibly talented, interesting, and creative. So much so, that I’d like to share these stories with the world and really showcase the people I’ve met, especially the friends I’ve made, including those I’ve yet to meet.
