Nestled in the heart of Bruce county (Ontario, Canada) is the multi generational property, founded in 1875, of the MacKenzie’s.
Set on a sprawling farm covering many hundreds of acres. The beating heart of the property is undoubtedly Andy and Sandy MacKenzie’s efforts at their lumber mill. The SawMill set its roots in the early 1980’s as a side hustle to their work at Bruce Power. Between the two of them they harvest, mill and craft products from locally and sustainable sourced white cedar and specialty deciduous trees. Coming out of this mill and captured on this channel you will find the whole process of precision cut lumber, custom furniture and Sandy’s distinctive wood crafts that are sold at markets across Bruce County.
