Eric Beaty is a guitarist of over 25 years, most known on YouTube for his Bluegrass guitar videos. He's the author of several books and courses on various topics, most notably guitar instruction.
Eric's focus on his YouTube channel has changed in many ways. From guitar instruction to product reviews to screencasts to writing, his passions are multiple and varied. Still, he always finds himself returning to playing and creating music.
In the coming years, Eric hopes to evolve his channel in a way that most represents his passion for creating music, most closely related to playing—rather than solely teaching—guitar.
"For years, teaching has paid the bills, but it's not where my heart lies," says Eric. "The sole focus of my heart is (and always has been) the creation and performance of music. This is the direction I want to steer my YouTube channel for the foreseeable future."
