The main purpose of this channel is to provide restored historic film footage, for viewers to learn from and enjoy.
All films created here are restore with modern software tools. This involves motion-stabilisation, speed correction, contrast, brightness and sharpness enhancement, noise reduction, dust and speckle removal, and upscaling to HD with A.I. colorization and sound for the historic ambiance.
All films are procured by private agreement / are granted permission to reproduce by relevant copyright holders / are deemed to be public domain. Where permission grantors cannot be sourced, are published under the Code of Best Practices in Fair Use for Online Video as outlined by the Center for Media & Social Impact.
