Hi I'm Matt, a portrait painter, sculptor and artist based in the UK.

My goal is to provide the skills and understanding and enable anyone to paint accomplished portrait paintings using traditional techniques. I do this by providing video courses which show step by step how to paint portraits in the manner of the great painters of the past, also known as the old masters. The idea is that people can try the exercises themselves. Everything is in real time so its like watching a real demonstration in the studio.
