About Purr Glass
Purr is an American glass manufacturer that has been hand blowing glass since 2003.
As a struggling student and artist, founder Chad Zindroski, envisioned combining aesthetic sensiblity and design with great function in a high quality pipe that even he could afford. The selection during that time consisted of heady pipes or large tubes, all of which came with large price tags. Dissatisfied with the availabe options, Chad pondered while gazing at borosciliate tubes in his back shed, and inspiration struck. By using only clear tubing, streamlined scientific design, and adding a perforated downstem for increased diffusion, pipe design and function were revolutionized. That day in 2003 was when the first scientific hammer was invented and Purr began.
