About Traciy Curry-Reyes
I'm Traciy Curry-Reyes, a writer who creates mini documentaries. I also talk dramatic true stories, movies based on true stories, urban legends, and topics pertaining to women. As a freelance journalist and storyteller, I've worked with production companies as a commentator for national TV crime shows. Originally from Alabama, I attended Jefferson State Community College and The University of Alabama at Birmingham.
I began my career as a blogger in the 1990s for my former website, The Movies Based on True Stories Database/Archives, which was the FIRST to compile a list of movies based on true stories and match them to the real crimes and the real people who inspired the made-for-TV-movies. Professionally, I've worked as a crime & TV reporter for Examiner and Inquisitr. In 2017, I founded the news website TV Crime Sky.
